Name
Urban Art / Painting June 23 - June 27
,Description

Step into the world of public art and learn what it takes to bring large-scale creative projects to life. In this hands-on, collaborative class, students will explore how murals and public artworks are planned, designed, and executed—from concept to installation.
Students will research real-world public art projects and gain insight into how artists develop proposals, including planning for scale, materials, and cost. Working together, they will create a mock design and proposal before transferring their artwork onto a large surface using grid techniques, just like professional muralists.
By the end of the week, students will have contributed to a collaborative piece and gained a deeper understanding of how art can transform shared spaces.
