Admission Galleries Buell Children's Museum Photo Gallery
Join us for Blooms at the Buell on Saturday, May 9th from 10AM – 5PM for a fun-filled day of celebration and community—with free admission for all! Celebrate your mom or someone special with creative activities like painting a flower pot, designing fabulous handmade cards, and taking part in exciting indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts. Guests will receive free marigold seeds, and you can even treat someone special to a complimentary facial and enjoy free neck and shoulder chair massages sponsored by Intellitec College. Explore a real firetruck, meet local firefighters, and join the Fire Fit Kids Program on site from noon to 2PM. Plus, don’t miss out on half-price memberships available during the event, and our annual magnet fundraiser sale. It’s a blooming good time for the whole family! 🌸🚒
Here are the list of the activities throughout the day:
- Flower Pot Painting and FREE Marigold Seeds - Paint a flower pot for your Mom in time for Mother's Day or someone special in your life. Grow the love by planting FREE Marigold Seeds!
- Meet Local Pueblo Firefighters! - from Noon to 2PM Explore a real fire truck, meet firefighters, and join the Fire Fit Kids Program!
- Design Handmade cards and Exciting Scavenger Hunts - Design a Mother's Day card and take part in multiple scavenger hunts!
- FREE Massages! - Receive complimentary massages from Charlie Brown Massage(11AM-3PM) and Y Cakra Massage (2PM to 5PM)!
Flower Bowls class is also happening during this special day to to make some great Mother's Day gifts together! More info below for that class:

Free adjacent parking is available in the South Lot (entrance at 2nd Street Light) and the North Lot (entrance off of 4th Street by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce).
The Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center is located in the heart of downtown Pueblo, just off I-25 at exit 98B with free parking and within walking distance from the Union Ave Historic District, the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo, shopping, restaurants, and downtown hotels.
